Selena Gomez won our hearts the first second we met her on July 14, 2007. That’s the day we did this exclusive photo shoot at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, California. Selena told us all about her then-brand-new show Wizards of Waverly Place. She was so excited! We also grilled her about some personal stuff. Here’s an excerpt from our interview that day:
Tiger Beat: How many pair of Converse do you own?
Selena: Too many to count!
Tiger Beat: Have you ever had rumors made up about you?
Selena: YES!!!
Tiger Beat: What’s your best advice for dealing with rumors?
Selena: Ignore it, because it will go away. Act like it doesn’t bother you. Focus on hanging out with your friends and don’t let it get to you. And don’t fight back, ’cause there is no need.
