AC: What are important skincare provisions to start in your teenage years?
NP: Sunscreen. Apply it after your moisturizer, but before applying makeup.

AC: Our routines are pretty simple and low-maintenance for day. What’s an easy way to transition a typical daytime look to nighttime- what small tweaks can be made?
NP: Some of my favorite easy tweaks include adding individual false lashes (pro tip: “knot-free” makes them look even more convincing!) throughout or smudging a soft kohl liner with a around eyes for an instant, lived-in smoky eye. Also, adding a bold lip stain color in red or a wine tone.

AC: Whether you’re gearing up for a stressful day or a major school dance, are there important prep steps that shouldn’t be overlooked no matter what the occasion is?
NP: Teenagers are often scared that moisturizer will make their skin “oilier” and lead to more skin problems like breakouts. This is false; drying out skin is much more likely to promote acne, so finding the right non-comedogenic (read: won’t clog pores!) one is an important step for healthy skin.

AC: What are your favorite products from the drugstore and the department store?
NP: Currently, I love: Weleda Iris Hydrating Cream, Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture Broad Spectrum SPF 35, It Cosmetics Tightline Waterproof Mascara, Charlotte Tilbury Rock’N’Kohl in “Barbarella Brown,” and Neutrogena MoistureSmooth Color Stick in “Fresh Papaya”.

We can’t WAIT to try these products at home and experiment with new looks! What was your favorite Bella Thorne beauty look? Tell us in the comments!
